Whether it is for a small gathering like a meeting, seminar, or for large crowd like birthday party, wedding, or for conference and convention, choosing a hall to be rented as a venue is a good option. The cost of renting a hall varies depending on several factors most especially on the place where you are living, or the environment of the hall you want to lease.
Picking a venue is planned as much as planning the whole event goes. Doing research months before the big event will help you choose the hall that suits your event and be able to pick the right packages that the establishment is offering.
Some halls charge per hour and some charge per person. Usually it starts from $400 that would rose up to $800 per hour depending on the amenities that are included. Most halls paid by hour already have chairs, tables, and electricity. Some halls offer catering services, and rate would be paid per person rather than per hour. Rate ranges from $20 to $90 per person.
Do not enter into a contract immediately. Assess the establishments, sent letters of inquiries to the different management of rental spaces so you can assess and handpicked the best, by then you can move doing the items or supplementing the requirements that are not included on the packages.
Most halls for rent require payment before the event as deposit. This payment also serves as assurance that if damages might occur during the event, you already paid for it or partly. Make sure to read the contract signing because some hall rentals have tight terms and conditions. Make sure that you agree all of them, if not, talk to the management if you have questions.
Make reservations earlier because there are months that the space’s schedule you might be renting is already full. Also, keep in mind that some establishments have peak and off-peak seasons. Cost of rent is more expensive during peak season. If it is possible to schedule the event you’re having during off-peak season then you can save a bunch of dollars, and avoid having to reset the date of event if the chosen date is already reserved.
Some halls are cheaper from Sun to Thurs and more expensive on Friday and Saturday. It is important to consider the dates very well and have your event well planned, and be flexible of changes of date if it is difficult to settle to other halls on a target date.
The price of hall rental definitely depends on various factors and there is no answer that would fit all your questions. Talk to your friends or acquaintances for suggestion of a place that might be your option.
It’s really hard to pinpoint a hall that is going to charge you a certain price. Each and every hall is going to vary greatly in its pricing. What you’re going to want to do is make sure that you consult with at least 3-5 halls. By doing so, you’re going to find that you can get the best price in your area.
